Diaphragmatic breathing, also known as belly breat Diaphragmatic breathing, also known as belly breathing, is a technique that involves deep inhalation using the diaphragm rather than shallow breaths from the chest. This method allows for optimal oxygen intake, promoting relaxation, better focus, improved physical performance, and enhanced muscle activation. This can lead to a greater and more consistent transfer of power up the kinetic chain, leading to increased club head speed and distance. 

Diaphragmatic Breathing in Your Golf Swing:

Pre-Shot Routine – Before stepping up to the ball, take a deep diaphragmatic breath to center yourself and relax any tension in your body.

Grip and Setup – As you address the ball, maintain a steady breathing pattern, ensuring your belly expands with each inhale.

Backswing – Inhale deeply through your nose as you initiate your backswing, allowing your core muscles to engage naturally.

Transition to Downswing – Briefly hold your breath at the top of your swing, keeping your body stable and engaged.

Exhale Through Impact – As you initiate your downswing and make contact with the ball, exhale slowly and forcefully, helping to generate power and maintain fluidity.

Follow-Through – Continue controlled breathing as you complete your swing, reinforcing relaxation and muscle efficiency for the next shot.

⛳️ Fundraising for Love Like Sean Foundation, honoring the memory of Sean Richards! Learn more about the Love Like Sean Foundation on their website.
⛳️ Golf & Fitness Combine: Participation in the Golf & Fitness Combine requires a $20 donation, with all proceeds going to Love Like Sean. In the two weeks before the Open House, golf and fitness sessions will consist of 6 challenges that will add up to a total score. Guests will have the opportunity to complete the Combine between 6pm-7pm on the night of the event! Winners will be announced during the Open House Event!
⛳️ Golf Competitions: Compete for a good cause in a Closest to the Pin competition during the event! "Buy In" will be a donation to Love Like Sean Foundation! 
⛳️ Awards Night: We will be announcing winners for the Golf & Fitness Combine as well as clubhouse awards for our members. These will look at progress made over the last year in golf, fitness, and life!
⛳️ Food, Drinks, & Company: Enjoy a spread of food and refreshments throughout the event! Bring your friends, family, and coworkers!
