There is no shortcut to being good at golf. It takes discipline and persistence on and off the golf course. We will give you all the tools you need to be successful, but it’s up to you on how to utilize them.

Marissa was born and raised in northwest Wisconsin where she grew to love the game of golf, sports, and overall health and wellness. In high school she played in Minnesota JR PGA tournaments, AJGA tournaments, and also had state golf tournament appearances in 2006, 2007, and 2009. From there she earned a scholarship to play division 2 golf at Southwest Minnesota State University.
Marissa graduated from SMSU in 2014 with a BS in Exercise Science. During her time there, she spent a lot of time doing personal training internships as well as student personal training in corporate fitness.
After graduating from SMSU, she began personal training all levels of fitness. In 2015 she started her Exercise Science Master’s degree program at Concordia University – Saint Paul, Minnesota. In 2016, she transitioned into chiropractic rehabilitation with a focus on cervical, lumbar, shoulder, and knee rehabilitation programs. In 2017 she finished her Master’s Degree in Exercise Science with her capstone project analyzing the best exercise modalities for weight loss in women.
After 8 years of living in Minnesota, Marissa moved to Chicago in 2021. In her spare time, she enjoys watching the newest movies, trying new places to eat, and taking her dog Norrie out on walks and to the dog park.
