There are three things that are required to make a lasting change to your golf and fitness: proper assessment, consistency, and a goal of where you want to be.

KODY ANDERSON

DIRECTOR OF FITNESS • LOMBARD

Kody is a graduate of Northern Illinois University where he graduated with his B.S in Athletic Training, as well as his M.S in Sport Management. He has practiced as a board certified Athletic Trainer for the past seven years, and has worked with every level of athlete from high school, collegiate, and professional. His background in sports medicine and rehabilitation has given him a different vantage point when assessing a golfer’s movement patterns.

While attaining his Masters degree at NIU, he had the chance to work as the Athletic Trainer for the NIU gymnastics and cross country programs. As an Athletic Trainer, Kody gained experience that ranged from fitness program design to injury evaluation, and treatment. This allowed Kody the opportunity to zero in on his passion for the specific sports he wanted to work with. It was then that he decided focusing specifically on golf fitness was the direction he wanted to go.

Kody believes there are three things that are most important when it comes to making a change to your golf fitness: assessment, consistency, and goals. He believes these things are most crucial because you will never be able to properly correct something you haven’t fully evaluated and assessed. Progress will never be made if there is no dedicated consistency to the program and process, and you need to set goals in order to drive continuous improvement.

Kody has called the Chicagoland area home since 2014. He and his wife Jocelyn were married in September of 2018. In 2020, Kody and his wife bought their home in the village of Woodridge. His favorite local golf course to play is Carriage Greens Country Club in Darien.
